Built by a team that runs on it every day.
Sotto came out of our own problem: we write hundreds of messages a week in two languages, and typing was the slowest part of the day.
Why we built it
We run an e-commerce business. Between supplier threads, customer replies and internal notes, a working day is mostly writing — often switching between Polish and English mid-sentence. Dictation tools existed, but they all handed back a transcript: your own filler words, your false starts, your "no wait, scratch that". Something still had to be rewritten before it could be sent.
So we built the thing we wanted: hold a key, talk like a person, and get back the sentence you meant. Sotto has been in daily use inside our own company since before it had a name — which is also why the first features were the unglamorous ones, like getting the text into whatever app you're already in.

The company
Sotto is made by the team behind Marbily, a Polish company based in Warsaw. The e-commerce business we run is what funds this one — which is why we can build it slowly and get it right.
